Job Description :
• Synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, focus library, scaffold synthesis, exploratory chemistry, lead chemistry and reference compound and large library.
• Hands on library and large scale synthesis of organic compounds.
• Handling typical organic reactions like Beckmann rearrangement, Buchwald-Hartwig cross coupling reaction, Bucherer reaction, Clemmensen reduction, Dess-Martin oxidation, Fischer indole synthesis, Friedel crafts acylation, Fries rearrangement, Grignard reaction, Reductive amination, Sonogashira coupling , Suzuki coupling, Sandmeyer reaction, and Mitsunobu reaction.
• Experienced on handling hazardous chemicals such as LDA, Bu-Li, Sec-BuLi, etc.
• Expertise in various purification techniques like Column Chromatography, Preparative TLC and Recrystalization Techniques.
• Characterization of organic compound using 1HNmr, IR, LCMS and Mass spectroscopy.
• Chem Draw, ISIS Draw, Reaxys and MDL Crossfire Commander.
• Procurement of Chemicals.
• Writing records for all experiments and observation.
• Making analysis data file for all experiments.
• Daily and Weekly update to the Project-Incharge.
• Writing final report for every target compounds.
• Maintain good laboratory practice including safety , handling of hazardous chemicals and laboratory equipments.
