APPOINTMENT OF INSURANCE OMBUDSMEN AT BHOPAL, CHENNAI, HYDERABAD & MUMBAI

The Office of the Governing Body of Insurance Council (GBIC) invites applications for appointment as Insurance Ombudsman to be posted at Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai centres, from persons who fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

The interested applicants may clearly indicate the willingness to work at any of the locations mentioned herein above, in case he/she is selected.

Eligibility Persons who have retired (or about to retire) as Chairman or Managing Director or Executive Director or General Manager of Public Sector Insurance Companies in India

OR
Persons who have retired (or about to retire) from IAS or IRS. The candidate should have held a post equivalent to or above the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India or any equivalent post under State Government

OR

Persons who have retired (or about to retire) as High Court Judge or District & Sessions Court Judge.

Age Not more than 62 years as on 30.09.2012
