Java / j2ee hands-on programming experience. Experience in design and architecture of atleast one enterprise class product.

Provide technical leadership for the product. Gather the requirements, size the development efforts, translate requirements into design, and perform
development tasks. Work with the key stakeholders to gain approvals on
direction, and keep open communication throughout the development and test cycles for a new release. Learn new technology quickly, think on your feet, and demonstrate very strong problem solving skills.

Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (evaluating requirements, sizing requirements, design, code, unit testing, maintenance)
Familiarity with a variety of platforms (Linux, Windows)
Strong communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Familiarity with processes to include open source software
Working knowledge of Linux & Windows OS.

Well versed with unit testing tools like Junit, Jmock and should have practices TDD. Familiar with continuos intergration tools like Jenkins/Hudson etc. Person should have exposure to Automation frameworks. Cloud/ Virtualizaiton domain experience is an added plus. Person should have hands-on experience of coding the current projects and should have desire to continue as a hands-on technical person. Person should have experience of designing and architecting enterprise grade solutions based on Component oriented architecture. Person should have exposure to working in a globally distributed environment. Person should be capable of driving architecture, design, reviews and coding
