We are currently looking for an experienced Mechnical CAD Technicians - Water with a broad-ranging background in the Water and Industrial Sectors to join our Mechanical, Electrical & Process engineering team in Delhi.

1. Maintains availability to assist CAD technicians in performing work during periods of high work load.
2. Utilizes technical manuals and directives to establish processes and procedures for compliance with codes and company policies.
3. Familiar with various standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
4. Manages CAD team to ensure compliance with CAD Standards.
5. Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
6. Understands orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs & supplier/manufacturer drawings.
7. Supervises and assists with/performs CAD technician responsibilities in response to workload demands.
8. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
9. Schedule the activities of the CAD section.
10. Knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD and graphics skills.
11. Responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
12. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards
13. Keep up-to-date with CAD development & software.
14. Prepare and administer as-built drawings.
15. May give technical guidance to lower level technicians.
16. Completes additional duties as assigned.
17. Assist in the training and development of junior personnel to strengthen our capability and make us more competitive in current and future markets.
18. Complete all drafting assignments on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
19. Staffing requirements updated based on the workload.
20. Improvement in the quality of work produced by CAD technicians.
21. Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of the assigned personnel.
22. Maintain the latest drafting standards and provide necessary training to CAD personnel.
23. Conduct performance evaluations, training and development for the assigned personnel.
24. Standardization of all Drafting section activities.
25. Improve engineering design efficiency.
26. Improve internal/external client communications.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical or other relevant discipline with 7 or more years of related work experience.
At least 3 years as a CAD Manager in design of water and wastewater projects. Must be proficient in software AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley Projectwise, ArcGIS, Microstation (knowledge desired).
Extensive and knowledgeable in personal computer skills.
Ability to implement Quality Management System on projects effectively.
Good spoken and written in English are essential.
Desire to train others and share knowledge.
