# Overall 5 to 10 years of Unix System Administration Experience out of which at least 6 Years should be in AIX with Solaris environment.

# AIX/ Solaris/ VCS/ HACMP Certification / TSM

# Certification will be an added advantage.

Mandatory :

# Adequate Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX Platform, and strong fundamentals
# Strong Knowledge & Experience in AIX.
# Good Understanding of trouble shooting & AIX Commands
# Strong experience in interfacing of external devices like Storage, Networking and backup devices
# Experience on the following layered products(in two or more) of the following products is Mandatory.

- HACMP/VCS
- HMC/LPARs
- NIM
- SP/PSSP/CSM

# Capability to plan and execute UNIX Security.
# Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP
# Loading of software, Networking, TCP/IP, NFS, NIS & DNS.
# Added experience in DCE/DFS, LDAP, Workload balancing, Power5 virtualization.

Qualification :

- Engineering Degree from Premier Institute(Electronics, Computer Science etc.,
OR
- Bachelor of Computer Science/Bachelor of Science/Equivalent Degree
OR
- Diploma in Computer Science in Electronics in UNIX Administrations in a Remote Delivery Environment.
