DTL invites applications for the positions of Asstt. Manager (Tech.) and Asstt.Manager(Civil) from the candidates, who had appeared in the GATE-2012 Examination.
Pay Band of Rs.19,000-39,100/-
Grade pay of Rs.5400/-
Total emoluments on joining in the above pay band would be Rs.62,000/- per month approximately.
1. Asstt.Manager(Tech.) : 48 Posts
- Electrical Engineering = 38 posts
- Non-Electrical Engg. (Electronics & Comm. Engg./IT/Computer Engg.) = 10 posts
Eligibility Criteria : Selection shall be made on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate, who had appeared in the GATE-2012 Examination and possessing the following educational qualifications :
(1) Degree in Electrical Engg. from a recognized University or equivalent;
(2) Degree in Electronics & Communication Engg./IT/Computer Engg. from a recognized University or equivalent.

2. Asstt.Manager(Civil) : 02 Posts
Eligibility Criteria : Selection shall be made on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate, who had appeared in the GATE-2012 Examination and possessing the following educational qualifications :
Essential : Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : Two years experience in design and construction of reinforced concrete structures, heavy machine foundations and masonry structures.
Age Limit (as on 28.02.2013): Not exceeding 28 years
Probation Period : Selected candidates shall be appointed on probation for a period of one year.
